Public Hotline – A Rights Resource
ACRI’s public hotline is an indispensable communication channel between our organization and the general public, and an important medium for civic empowerment. The hotline handles complaints and referrals from more than 5,000 individuals every year, who can access the resource by telephone, e-mail, or by regular mail. Our hotline staff, a committed and skilled team of staff and 30 volunteers, responds to inquiries in four languages: Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and English. In addition to providing callers with the necessary tools and knowledge to access their fundamental rights, the hotline also enables ACRI to identify trends relating to human rights issues in Israel. At times, the hotline also serves as a source of potentially precedent-setting cases to be pursued in the legal arena.
To receive free legal information and/or advice on human rights-related issues, please contact our Public Hotline team in Israel at: 1-700-700-960.
