Director of International Relations

(Full-time Position)

Based in Tel Aviv 

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) is seeking a Director of International Relations.  This is a senior position, part of the organization’s management team, with a responsibility for leading ACRI’s fundraising and development, international media and international relations.


Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of International Relations will be responsible for developing and implementing all international strategy – including fundraising and development, advocacy, strategic partnerships, media and communications. This includes managing the staff of the department and overseeing all work related to development, donor relations, media relations in English, international relations, marketing and communications in English, and strategic partnerships. It also includes participating in ACRI’s leadership team meetings and decision-making, which leads the overall strategy for the organization. Finally, the Director of International Relations has coordination functions with regard to project design in the content areas and public relations work with the Hebrew and Arabic teams, led by the Associate Director.



  • A passion and deep understanding of human rights issues and identification with ACRI’s mission and values.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Perfect English-language writing and editing skills (Please DO NOT apply if this is a question for you).
  • High-level to Fluent Hebrew reading and speaking skills (Please DO NOT apply if you do not read Hebrew but are hoping to learn).
  • Demonstrated writing and fundraising experience (Please apply only if you have substantial experience writing grant proposals in English for institutional donors).
  • Excellent communications, management, and collaborative leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
