Reut Cohen

Attorney Reut Cohen joined ACRI as an attorney in 2014.  Ms. Cohen’s work focuses both on social and economic rights, and in particular on the right to live in dignity and the right to healthcare, and on civil and political rights.  Ms. Cohen holds an L.L.B. from the University of Haifa and an L.L.M. from The American University in Washington D.C., where she was a NIF fellow, and where she specialized in international human rights law and in law and gender studies.  Ms. Cohen was active in Haifa’s social protests during 2011-2012, and in recent years has acted as a legal consultant in the struggle for recognition of the rights of the LGBT community in Haifa.  She volunteers for Hoshen and with various feminist organizations.
