ACRI seeks a full-time International Relations Associate

 

Job Summary

The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) seeks a full-time, International Relations Associate to work as part of a team under the supervision of the Director of International Relations. The Associate is a key staff member who will be responsible for managing and cultivating a portfolio of donor accounts, including providing quality English and Hebrew language content for proposals, reports, publicity materials and crafting messaging for social media. This full-time position is based in ACRI's offices in Tel Aviv, with occasional travel to offices in Jerusalem and Nazareth as necessary.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of existing donors including foundations and friendly governments
  • Growing this portfolio by identifying and cultivating new donor prospects through written proposals and frontal presentations mostly in English, occasionally in Hebrew
  • Preparing high quality documents to service ACRI’s donor community
  • Support in donor relations, correspondence and fund raising campaigns
  • Translating between Hebrew and English in both directions
  • Work with the department director on special projects as needed
  • Maintaining a donor database CRM on Salesforce

 

Required Professional Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong commitment to Human Rights and ACRI’s mission and values
  • Academic Degree (preference given to candidates with MA)
  • Bilingual (Hebrew and English) with first-class editing and writing skills
  • At least two years of proven experience in English language writing for non-profits
  • Experience with preparing proposals to the European Commission an advantage
  • Advanced-level Hebrew proficiency with the ability to professionally and accurately translate materials from Hebrew to English
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Team player who can take initiative
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Suite, DropBox, MailChimp, WordPress)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Position based in ACRI’s Tel Aviv.
